Archy the alpaca
Who is Archy? Archy (Archbald Lafferty) is the grand father of Claudia, founder with Bert of Lafferty & Sons Ltd. Archy is the one that moved from Ireland to Scotland in the 1800's.
Why is Archy an Alpaca? Alpacas are extremely clever and versatile animals. Originally from the Andes they can adapt to every temperature and latitude and can be found in Scotland and Italy.
Famous for their funny jump and fluffy wool we chose an Alpaca as our mascot as they best represents Archy, Claudia, Bert or all those who had to adapt, learning new ways of living in another country, respecting customs and traditions, making every corner of the world their home.
