The next chapter of the Lafferty story will include the new distillery in Callander in the heart of Scotland. Opening in 2024 they will develop their family of premium whiskies. The entire production process will be lead by the renowned Master Blender, Ron Welsh.

The Master Blender - Ron Welsh

Ron Welsh was the master blender and strategic inventory manager for Beam Suntory, overseeing the management of individual casks such as Bowmore. Excitingly, he is now embarking on a new venture at Drumbane distillery, marking the beginning of a fresh and promising chapter in his illustrious career.

Cask Ownership

We are releasing a cask opportunity for a limited number of single malt casks, hand crafted by traditional methods and overseen by our experienced master blender, Ron Welsh. A Highland Whisky, matured in Barriques (225 Lt.). That has previously contained a variety of premium Italian wine, such as Vin Santo, SuperTuscan and more. Sold on a first-come first-served basis, providing the opportunity to be part of a new and unique path.
